国際的な事業活動におけるネットワーク関連発明の権利保護

産業構造審議会知的財産分科会第50回特許制度小委員会が2024年11月6日開かれ、DX時代にふさわしい産業財産権制度構築として、①国際的な事業活動におけるネットワーク関連発明等の適切な権利保護、④DX時代にふさわしい産業財産権手続に関する制度的措置、の議論が開始されます。先だって、「国内特許、海外サーバー利用でも対象に　動画サイト」などの記事が掲載されています。
② 生成AI技術の発展による知的創造活動の過程の変化、③ VR技術の発展やオンラインコミュニケーション機会の増大等による仮想空間上のサービスの増加、は、意匠制度小委員会等において議論される予定とのこと。

Rights Protection for Network-Related Inventions in International Business Activities
 
The 50th Patent System Subcommittee of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Industrial Structure Council will be held on November 6, 2024. Discussions will begin on building an industrial property rights system suitable for the DX (Digital Transformation) era, focusing on (1) appropriate rights protection for network-related inventions in international business activities and (4) institutional measures related to industrial property procedures suitable for the DX era. Recently, articles such as "Domestic Patents Covering Overseas Server Usage in Video Sites" have been published.
Additionally, topics such as (2) changes in the process of intellectual creation activities due to the development of generative AI technology, and (3) the increase in virtual space services due to advances in VR technology and the expansion of online communication opportunities are expected to be discussed in the Design System Subcommittee and other committees.
