8月14日、New York General Groupが独自に開発した人工知能「Categorical AI」が発明した人工知能技術「高次元微分演算子を計算するための確率的テンソル縮約ネットワーク（特願2025-046150）」が日本国特許庁より特許査定を受けたことが発表されました。
日本国内において「人工知能が発明した人工知能」に対して特許査定が行われた初の事例ということです。
