企業同士の商談で知的財産や生産設備のデータ提供を強いる事例がないか、公正取引委員と中小企業庁、特許庁が合同で、業界が偏らないように無作為で抽出した約4万社に調査票を送り、調査を始めるとのことです。
企業にとって知財やノウハウだけでなく、データも重要な経営資源であるという認識が広がると良いと思います。

Survey on Cases of Forced Disclosure of Intellectual Property and Production Equipment Data
The Japan Fair Trade Commission, the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, and the Japan Patent Office will jointly begin a survey to investigate whether companies are being forced to provide intellectual property or production equipment data during business negotiations. They will send questionnaires to about 40,000 randomly selected companies to avoid industry bias.
It is hoped that awareness will grow that not only intellectual property and know-how, but also data, are important management resources for companies.
