中国電力「エネルギアグループ知的財産報告書2024年」

中国電力が3月22日に発行した「エネルギアグループ知的財産報告書（2024年）」は、グループ経営ビジョン「エネルギアチェンジ2030」（2020年1月策定）の実現に向けた知的資本と人的資本について、事例とともに知財面での取り組み状況を紹介しています。
　知的財産報告書が統合報告書の中に統合される動きの中で、知的財産報告書を出し続けている熱意が伝わってきます。
　マスコミが取りあげているのは、電気事業における特許の価値の定量的評価（33 頁）です。
「特許技術が関係したコスト低減額」に特許の寄与度と独占排他性を加味して算定している中国電力独特の計算による評価額で、新技術が特許で担保されていることにより自社のみがメリットを享受できている金額効果をしめしています。中国電力の定量的評価額2022 年度は183億円で、2021年度より25億円増となっています。
製造業では、コスト低減にかかる特許の評価を同様に評価している会社も少なくありません。しかし、毎年公表し続けているのは中国電力だけでしょう。

This valuation, unique to Chugoku Electric Power, calculates the "amount of cost reduction related to patent technology" by considering the contribution and exclusive exclusivity of patents, demonstrating the monetary benefits that can be enjoyed solely by the company due to the new technologies being patented. The quantitative valuation amount for Chugoku Electric Power in the fiscal year 2022 is 18.3 billion yen, an increase of 2.5 billion yen from the fiscal year 2021.
Many companies in the manufacturing industry similarly evaluate patents for cost reduction. However, Chugoku Electric Power is probably the only company that continues to publicly disclose this information every year.
