情報処理推進機構（IPA）は8月29日、「企業における営業秘密管理に関する実態調査2024」報告書を公開しました。この調査は、2024年度における国内企業での営業秘密の漏えい発生状況や管理実態、対策などの実態把握を目的としてアンケートを行ったものです。
業務における生成AIの利用について、何らかのルールを定めている割合は52.0%。ルールを定めるとした中では、「生成AIを利用してよい」割合が25.8%、「生成AIを利用してはならない」割合が26.2％と、生成AI利用の許可・禁止が相半ばしているということです。
知財推進計画2025では、KPIとして、「日本企業の AI の利活用率を概ね 100%まで高める。」としていますので、今後利用率は上がると考えられますが、KPIのハードルは高そうです。

Survey on the Actual State of Trade Secret Management in Companies 2024
On August 29, the Information-technology Promotion Agency (IPA) released the report “Survey on the Actual State of Trade Secret Management in Companies 2024.” This survey, conducted through questionnaires, aimed to capture the actual situation regarding the occurrence of trade secret leaks, management practices, and countermeasures in domestic companies during fiscal year 2024.
Regarding the use of generative AI in business operations, 52.0% of companies reported that they have established some form of rules. Among those that set rules, 25.8% allow the use of generative AI, while 26.2% prohibit it, indicating that permissions and prohibitions on generative AI use are almost evenly split.
In the Intellectual Property Promotion Plan 2025, one of the KPIs is “to increase the utilization rate of AI in Japanese companies to approximately 100%.” While usage rates are expected to rise in the future, achieving this KPI appears to be a high hurdle.
