ブランド価値向上による無形資産強化

財務諸表には計上されない無形資産としてブランド価値が挙げられるが、ブランド価値についてはBtoB企業では経営者の間においても意識が薄いという現状があります。
知的資産創造2024年2月号の「シリーズ　非財務資本強化による価値創造経営の実現　第9回　ブランド価値向上による無形資産強化」では、先進企業として日本電気（NEC）と富士通を取り上げ、両社のブラント価値を大きく高める変革について解説されています。
「筆者は、多くの企業の経営者とブランドについてよく議論するが、その都度、日本企業のポテンシャルの高さを強く感じる。なぜならば、ブランド価値に対する認識がまだまだ低いからである。もし、ブランド価値に関して日本企業の経営者が意識をもっと高めることができれば、日本企業はさらに成長できるだろう。」という筆者の考えは、その通りでしょう。

Strengthening Intangible Assets by Enhancing Brand Value
 
Brand value is an intangible asset that is not recorded in financial statements. However, there is currently little awareness of brand value among management at BtoB companies.
In the February 2024 issue of Intellectual Asset Creation, the author discusses NEC and Fujitsu as leading companies and explains how they are making changes that will greatly enhance their brand value.
The author often discusses brands with the management of many companies, and each time I strongly feel the high potential of Japanese companies. This is because the awareness of brand value is still low. If Japanese executives could raise their awareness of brand value, Japanese companies could grow even more.
The author's opinion is probably right.
